FERRUM, Va. -- Marsalis Jackson's five-yard touchdown reception with 3:24 left in the game proved to be the difference in LaGrange College's 10-3 USA South win over Ferrum College this afternoon at Adams Stadium.
Graham Craig had 214 yards passing for LaGrange (4-5, 4-3 USA South).
Tae Gilbert had 152 yards rushing on 16 carries for Ferrum (2-7, 2-4 USA South).
Will Jeffcoat opened scoring with a 22-yard field goal with 3:42 remaining in the second quarter.
Wesley Franklin countered with a 30-yard field goal with just 31 seconds left before halftime.
Ferrum will close out the season Saturday, November 16 at home against Christopher Newport University. The USA South game gets underway at 1 p.m. Prior to the game, Ferrum will honor it's graduating seniors.
