Healing Strides of Virginia (HSVA) was established in 1991 and is home to Ferrum's equestrian team. Situated on 22 acres in nearby Boones Mill, Virginia, HSVA is the only Premier Accredited Center with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International in the Roanoke Valley.
The Harry and Lavon Webb Arena officially opened in 2015. HSVA's offices and therapy rooms are located in the Hannah's House of Hope building. By enclosing the arena, HSVA now has approximately 20,000 square feet of indoor room.
HSVA is located next to Magadee Creek, just North of Boones Mill, 25 minutes from Ferrum's campus and 10 minutes south of Roanoke.
