The Burrows-Skeens Tennis Courts at Ferrum College feature six courts and a pavilion. Tha courts are named for a generous donor, Dave Burrows, whose daughter Linda played tennis at Ferrum, and former longtime Tennis Coach Col. Earl "Bud" Skeens. The official dedication and renaming ceremony was held in 2002.
The facility is home to the Ferrum men's and women's tennis teams, and is also used for physical education courses as well as recreational play throughout the school year. Local high schools have used the the courts in recent years to host regular season and post-season matches.
