WINCHESTER, Va. - Ferrum College dropped a non-conference football road game tonight to Shenandoah University, falling 53-33 at Shentel Stadium. The Hornets scored early and often in rolling up a 34-7 halftime lead and never looked back.

THE BASICS
Ferrum surrendered a pair of early touchdowns and trailed 14-0 just four and a half minutes into the game. Quarterback Hayden Bauserman picked away at the Panther defense, going 31-48 for 374 yards and four touchdowns. Freshman running back Brian Mann was a bright spot for Ferrum, rushing for 147 yards and a score on 21 carries. Starting QB Harvey Taylor was 5-14 for 68 yards passing and touchdown. Tyler English came on the in the third quarter and closed the game 4-13 passing for 83 yards and a touchdown.
