Zachary Kudwa's 25-yard field goal with 4:44 to go in the third quarter cut Ferrum's lead to 19-13, then Connor Blair's one-yard run capped an 88-yard drive that gave LaGrange its first lead of the game, 20-19, with 1:54 left to play in the third. Mann then scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to put the game out of reach.
