BREVARD, N.C. -- Ferrum College posted a 27-24 non-conference football win over Brevard College this afternoon at Brevard Memorial Stadium. It was the first-ever gridiron meeting between the two schools.

THE BASICS
Brian Mann's second touchdown of the day, a six-yard run to close out the third quarter, tied the game at 24-24.
Brad Green then split the uprights from 18 yards out to open the fourth quarter for his second field goal of the game. Earlier in the game, Green connected on a 21-yard field goal in the first quarter to Ferrum out in front 10-7.

COACH'S THOUGHTS
"Great to go on the road and get a hard fought win," said Head Coach Rob Grande. "Our players worked hard and made the plays needed to win. Brevard has been improving all year and I knew it would be a difficult place to win. Our coaches did a great job making adjustments and putting our players in a position to be successful."
