Ferrum, Va. -- Bridgewater College scored 35 second-half points en route to a 42-21 Old Dominion Athletic Conference football win over Ferrum College this afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led early in the second quarter on a pair of Brian Mann rushing touchdowns. The Panthers held a 14-7 lead at the break but Bridgewater took a 21-14 lead on Demetreus Jalepes' one-yard touchdown run and Devonta Womack's 68-yard pun return for a score.
Ferrum answered with Nick Pierce hauled in a 56-yard touchdown pass from backup quarterback Titus Jones to open the fourth quarter. The Eagles scored three touchdowns in a seven-minute window late in the fourth quarter to close it out.

Coach Rob Grande's team will close out the 2018 season Saturday November 17 at Averett University. The non-conference game is set to kick-off at 2:00 p.m. in Danville, Virginia. This is a make-up game originally set for September 15 but was postponed due to Hurricane Florence.
