BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"We got off to a slow start offensively. Super proud of our defense for standing up throughout the course of the day in some tough situations. After coming off a tough loss last week, Coach McCray and his staff put together a great plan and we hung in there all day. We had some adversity in the first half, but caught fire with an early score in the third quarter, always good to score on your first possession after halftime. We went cold again, but hung in there and put together a great drive at the end. Really proud of Titus, and Coach Summers did a great job at the end with adjustments and just taking what they gave us. Bridgewater double-teamed Tmahdae Penn all day long and kind of took him out, so we had to find some other answers. I think we grew up a bit as a team today, and this was a great team win." --Head Coach Cleive Adams
