Box Score FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's basketball game to Randolph College tonight at home, falling 58-55 at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
The two teams played evenly through the first two quarters, with Ferrum holding a 10-9 lead after one and a 25-23 lead at the break.
Alexis Kiser's layup at 6:14 of the third quarter put Randolph on top 27-25, but Ferrum's Kayla Cabiness answered with a layup 13 seconds later to tie the game.
The WildCats led 29-28 a few minutes later, then used a 6-0 run to widen the lead to 35-28 with 3:40 left in the third, and eventually closed the quarter up 39-33.
Randolph extended the lead to nine points in the fourth quarter when Kiser's layup made it 53-44 with 2:43 left in the game. Ferrum roared back with an 11-2 run to tie the game at 55-55 on Cabiness' three-pointer with 19 seconds left in regulation.
The Panthers had a chance to grab the lead after a steal, but Cabiness was called for an offensive foul on her way to making a layup. Randolph's Teniyah Crenshaw converted three free throws in the waning seconds to close out the game.
