FERRUM, Virginia -- The Ferrum College Football team fell to Washington and Lee University 17-7 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game this afternoon during Homecoming Weekend.

THE BASICS
Rah'Quan Payne recovered a fumble on Washington and Lee's third play from scrimmage. That led to
Joshua Ellerbe's nine-yard rushing touchdown, as he bounced out to the right side of the offensive line and went untouched into the endzone, putting the Panthers up 7-0.
Eli Hildebrandt completed a 67 yard pass up the middle of the field to Alex Vaught, to set himself up for a fou- yard keeper into the endzone just before halftime, making it a 7-7 score at the break.Â
The Generals first drive in the second half saw them march down field and take a 14-7 lead after Harry Crutcher rumbled in from a yard out.
Josh Luckett was picked off by Isaiah Mefford, that would set up an Arturo Ramirez 40 yard field goal, making it 17-7 with 2:31 left to play.
