William Peace (4-5)

THE BASICS
Calvin Washington's layup at 15:22 of the first half gave Ferrum a commanding 13-2 lead early on. Neal hit a three-pointer at 11:37 to make it a 19-8 game at 11:37, then Tahli Oden's pair of free throws with 1:02 left in the first half pushed the lead to 12 points, 36-24, at the break.

William Peace used a 21-10 run to open the second half to get within a point at 46-45 on Beau Bryant's three-pointer at the 12:24 mark. Ferrum steadily pulled away and eventually opened a pair of 12-points leads in the second half en route to the road win. The win avenged a 74-63 loss to the Pacers November 8 in Ferrum to open the season.
