FERRUM, Virginia – Ferrum College women's basketball team defeated Greensboro 70-53. Greensboro scored the opening basket to take their only lead of the game. Ferrum then took over and scored at will the rest of the game. Ferrum was led by
Aisha Martin's 15 points on 5-10 shooting. Freshman
Maslyn Mosbacher was stingy on defense recording 6 steals.

The second quarter saw the Panthers outscore the Pride 15-3. Ferrum dominated on the boards, out rebounding the Pride 45 to 31. For the game, the Panthers shot 40% from the field against the Pride's zone defense.
