FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College lost 4-2 to visiting Belmont Abbey College in Conference Carolinas men's soccer action tonight at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Sam Jordan had a goal and three assists to lead to the Conference Carolinas road win. He opened scoring at 6:22 with an assist going to Pat Cormier off a long throw-in. 
Jadon Brooks tied the game with a goal at 11:14 for Ferrum.
Ethan Cain added a goal for the Crusaders at 12:26, then Sam Reynolds scored at 15:09 to make it a 3-1 game at the break, with Jordan getting assists on both goals. Pat Hissim made it a 4-1 game with a goal at 59:51 off another Jordan pass.
With less than two minutes left in regulation, Nicacio broke through three defenders to notch an unassisted goal for Ferrum at the 88:21 mark to close out scoring.
