Late Goal Lifts Barton Past Ferrum Men

WILSON, N.C. -- Barton College scored a late goal to beat Ferrum College in Conference Carolinas men's soccer play, winning 2-1 this afternoon at Bulldogs Athletic Complex.

THE BASICS
Barton's Akos Tajtyi scored off a pass from Blake Grove at the 18:03 mark to give Barton the early lead, which held up through halftime.

Jonathan Nicacio scored an equalizer for Ferrum at 68:43 off a pass from Alex Bhutia. Six minutes later, Kenan Leber found the back of the net for an unassisted goal at the 74:37 mark and the Bulldog defense did the rest.
