Volleyball Falls on the Road

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. -- Ferrum College fell 3-0 in Conference Carolinas volleyball action this afternoon at University of Mount Olive. Set scores at Kornegay Arena were 25-8, 25-19, 25-14.

THE BASICS
Mount Olive jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first set and never looked back, closing the set on a Ferrum attack error. The Panthers trailed early in the second set as well, with Sarabeth Johnson's kill off a Harleigh Propst set trimming the lead to 14-11. The Trojans pulled away slowly from there, closing the set on a pail of Olivia Melvin kills. Mount Olive then took the third set to complete the league win.
