FLORENCE, S.C. -- Ferrum College's volleyball team traveled to Francis Marion University Wednesday, October 8, for a showdown with the top-ranked team in Conference Carolinas standings, falling 3-1.
Set scores were 19-25, 25-17, 25-5, 25-13 at Smith University Center.

Danielle Worthy's service ace on set point gave Ferrum the first set for a 1-0 lead.
The Patriots roared back in taking three straight sets to remain unbeaten in Conference Carolinas play at 8-0.
