GREENSBORO, North Carolina – Ferrum College dropped a pair of softball games on the road this afternoon, losing to Greensboro College 11-3 in the opening game and dropping the second game 8-4. On the day,
Emily Hopper was 4-6 scoring 2 runs and one RBI.
Riley Young was 3-6 with 2 RBI.

GAME ONE
In the first game, Ferrum was able to get on the board first when
Nicole Emerson singled to left field knocking in Young. The Pride responded with 3 runs in the bottom the first. The Panthers were able to pull within one run in the top of the fourth when Young singled in Hopper. However, Greensboro plated 6 runs in the bottom of the fifth leading to the final score.
GAME TWO
In game two, the Pride opened a 5-0 lead after two innings. In the top of the third
Lexi Bennett singled to left center scoring Hughes. Young hit into a fielder choice scoring Hopper. With a 8 -2 lead going into the top of the sixth, the Panthers were able to plate two more runs leading to the final score.
