FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College's men's tennis team closed out the 2025 season with a 5-2 win over Southwest Virginia Community College on Senior Day this afternoon at Burrows-Skeens Tennis Courts.

THE BASICS
The Panthers honored graduating player
Tripoom Jala with a Senior Day ceremony prior to the match. The Panthers then dropped two of three doubles matches to surrender the doubles point and give Southwest Virginia CC a 1-0 lead headed into singles play.
Emilio Munguia and
Gabriel Alvarez looked solid in defeating SVCC's Cameron Jesse and Ashby Wilson 6-0 at #1 doubles.
Munguia, Alvarez, Jala,
Jairo Herbas and
Austin Brigman all earned straight set wins at #1-5 singles, respectively, to close out the match.
