FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College's volleyball team dropped a home match to Southern Virginia University, falling 3-0 this morning at Swartz Gym. Set scores were 25-16, 26-24, 25-16.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led 12-11 in the first set, only to see Southern Virginia use a 13-5 run to close out the set and take the early 1-0 lead.
The Panthers led 13-12 in the second set and then 20-19. The Knights rallied for a 25-24 lead, then closed the set on a kill by Emma Broadbent. Southern Virginia opened the third and final set with a 7-5 lead, then used an 18-10 run to close out the set and match.
