YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. -- Ferrum College's volleyball team fell 3-0 to Young Harris College in Conference Carolinas play tonight on the road. Set scores were 25-21, 26-24, 25-21 at Harp Recreation and Commencement Center.

THE BASICS
Young Harris led 8-6 in the first set, then slowly began to pull away, extending the lead to 22-13 before closing the set out and taking the 1-0 lead.
In the second set, a pair of
Danielle Worthy kills and a
Daniela Castillo service ace put Ferrum up 12-6. The Mountain Lions rallied to tie the score at 24-24. Two kills later, Young Harris owned a two-sets-to-love advantage.
The third set was tight all the way, with Ferrum owning a 16-15 lead on a
Makayla Rumley kill, then a 17-16 lead on a Young Harris service error. The Mountain Lions used a 9-4 run down the stretch to close out the set and match.
