PEMBROKE, N.C. -- Ferrum College fell 41-14 to University of North Carolona at Pembroke in a Conference Carolinas football clash tonight at Grace P. Johnson Stadium. It was the first-ever meeting between the two schools in football.

THE BASICS
Tre Robinson's 9-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Greene at 4:39 of the first quarter opened scoring, and the Braves led 7-0 after one. Robinson found Jackson Karcher from 25 yards out at 14:04 of the second quarter, then Taylor Harris split the uprights from 22 yards out at 6:19 to make it 17-0. Devyn Grant's one-yard run up the middle four minutes later made it a 24-0 game at the break.
Robinson had an 11-yard touchdown run to open the third quarter, then his 34-yard scoring strike to Malik Brown at the 6:38 mark of the third made it a 38-0 score heading into the fourth quarter.
Jycen Anciso plunged into the end zone from a yard out to get Ferrum on the scoreboard at 11:07 of the fourth quarter. Six minutes later Harris drilled a 47-yard field goal attempt to extend the lead to 41-7. Anciso closed out scoring with a 13-yard run up the middle with just over two minutes left to play for the final score.
