Ferrum Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Carly Coyle.

Carly Coyle originally joined the Ferrum College athletics staff as Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach in August of 2020, and served three years under Head Coach Karen Harvey. She left the College after the 2023 season to become Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Salem High School, where she also was involved with various administrative duties.

Coyle returned to Ferrum as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in August 2024. She is responsible with all phases of the Panther women's lacrosse program, including Ferrum's transition to NCAA Division II.

Coyle earned her Bachelor's degree in 2020 from University of Virginia at Wise, majoring in Administration of Justice with a minor in Sociology. She then earned a Master's degree in Athletic Coaching from Ferrum in 2023.

A native of Midlothian, Virginia, Coyle has found success at every level of lacrosse she has been a part of. She played four years Cosby High School, was named All-Conference 2015 and 2016, and helped her team win a conference championship in 2016. After Cosby, Coyle moved on to UVA Wise. The Cavaliers went unbeaten in 2018 and won the Mountain East Conference title, then successfully defended their title in 2019.
