Molly Burdick joined the Ferrum athletic staff in November 2024 as Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach. She came to Ferrum from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, where she competed as an undergraduate student in lacrosse, basketball, volleyball and cross country. She served as team captain for the Wildcat lacrosse and basketball programs in 2022 and 2023.

Burdick earned All-Conference honors four times in basketball, three times in lacrosse and once in cross country. She closed her four-year lacrosse career with 48 games, including 47 starts, totaling 125 career points on 100 goals and 25 assists.

In basketball, she played and started in 112 games, with 1925 career points and 1103 career rebounds. She is the Wildcats' career leader in both scoring and rebounding. She was SUNY Polytechnic's Female Athlete of the Year in 2020, 2022 and 2023.

In 2022, Burdick completed a D3 USA Tour and basketball tournament in Brazil, playing in high-level games as well as holding youth clinics. She also served as a basketball camp counselor in 2022. Burdick earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from SUNY Polytechnic in 2023.
