Levi Englman joined the Ferrum Athletics staff as Assistant Men's Wrestling Coach in December 2023. He was then promoted to Assistant Wrestling Coach and Recruiting Coordinator in May 2026.Â
Englman wrestled five years for the Panthers from 2019-23, and is third on the all-time wins list with 102 career victories and 20 pins. A two-time NCAA qualifier for Ferrum, he earned All-America as a true freshman in 2019, then made All-America again in 2020. At one point during his career, Englman was ranked #1 in the nation among NCAA Division III wrestlers.
Englman posted a seventh-place finish at the 2019 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships, hosted by Ferrum, pinning a defensing national champion in his opening match. He closed the 2019 season with a stellar 33-8 record, including nine pins. Englman won three collegiate tournaments, including two Southeast Wrestling Conference titles and the 2019 Southeast Regional title.
Englmen's high school career includes two Virginia High School League state titles while wrestling for Colonial Forge High School under legendary Coach Bill Swink. He was also a two-time NHSCAÂ All-American, and a three-time freestyle and greco Virginia state champ.
