Jameson Hackett joined the Ferrum athletics staff as Athletic Training Operations Manager in August 2026. In this role he provides assistance with Ferrum’s athletic training room operations, inventory, practices and along with athletic eventsÂ
A four-year football player for the Panthers from 2022-25, Hackett also served as a Sports Medicine office assistant and gained experience working within Ferrum Athletics.
Hackett earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Fitness Management from Ferrum College in May 2026. He is also certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
In addition to his experience with Ferrum Athletics, Hackett completed a Personal Training internship with Ferguson Fitness in nearby Roanoke, Virginia, where he assisted with exercise instruction, workout demonstrations, fitness assessments, program design, client communication, and gym operations. He also worked with the Franklin County YMCA, providing customer service, assisting with fitness advisory and recreational training programs, and helping support members of all ages.
