Jessica McGrath comes to Ferrum from Sterling College in Kansas, where she served for two years as an Athletic Training Student. She is a native of Liverpool, England.
McGrath earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training in May 2026. She worked with Sterling's football, women's basketball, track & field, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's soccer programs. She also worked with the Wichita State University women's basketball program. McGrath also served with the Summer Camp Health Staff at University of Wisconsin at Whitewater from June through August 2025.Â
As an undergraduate student at York University in Nebraska, McGrath served as a student athletic trainer, where she gained valuable experience in baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball and wrestling. She earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from York, in Biology and Psychology in 2024, while minoring in Athletic Training.
