Josh Reeves joined the Ferrum men's basketball coaching staff in July 2024. He played basketball two years at Ferrum from 2020-22. Reeves joins the Ferrum staff from George Wythe High School, where he served the past two seasons as Assistant Boys Basketball Coach. In his first season on the bench, he helped lead the Maroons to a 26-4 overall record and a runner-up finish in the 2023 Virginia High School League (VHSL) Class A State Championship Tournament.
 
This past season, Reeves help GWHS to a 20-8 record and a quarterfinal appearance in the 2024 VHSL Class A State Tournament. He worked during the summer of 2023 as a basketball instructor for Point Guard College camps, working with 150+ athletes each session. 
 
Reeves earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Ferrum in December 2022, majoring in Health & Fitness Management with a minor in Athletic Coaching.
