FERRUM, Va. -- North Carolina Wesleyan College overcame a 7-0 halftime deficit in posting a 24-14 USA South football win over Ferrum College this afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium during the Panthers' Homecoming Weekend.

Jordan Vann threw for 206 yards for N.C. Wesleyan on 15-28 passing, with one interception and a sack.  Marcus Mayo was 9-13 passing for 151 yards and a pair of touchdowns, but was sacked eight times for 56 yards.

RB Justin Donnelly had 107 yards and two touchdowns on six receptions for Ferrum.  DB Kenny Tapscott had a solid game on defense for Ferrum, registering six solo and eight assisted tackles.

NC Wesleyan (2-2, 1-0 USA South) had 437 yards total offense, including 231 rushing and 206 passing. Ferrum was held to 201 yards total offense, including 50 yards rushing.

Ferrum (0-4, 0-1 USA South) returns to action Saturday, Oct. 9, at Methodist University.  The USA South game kicks off at 1 p.m. in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
