Dalton Honored in Senior Day Ceremony

FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College held its annual Cheerleading Senior Day ceremony at halftime of the Ferrum College vs. Methodist University men's basketball game Saturday, Feb. 8, at Swartz Gymnasium. The Panthers lose just one senior to graduation this year, Jennifer Dalton. Dalton was escorted by her mother, Vickie Dalton. Her father is Dean Dalton.

Dalton has been a member of the cheerleading team for four years, serving as captain this season. While at Ferrum, she participated in the Psychology Club. Dalton will graduate this May with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Social Work. She plans to pursue a master's degree in Developmental Psychology and then hopes to begin a career in counseling children.

Respected by her teammates, Dalton's dedication and diligence is what truly separates her as a leader of the team. Her obvious passion for cheerleading and commitment to her teammates has made her a valuable asset to the sport and to the Ferrum College Community.
