KeAndre' Robinson converted a jumper with 1:04 left in regulation to break a 65-65 deadlock and Ferrum College held on for a 69-65 non-conference men's basketball win over Eastern Mennonite University in front of a crowd of 650-plus tonight at Swartz Gym.

How It Happened
The Panthers trailed by as many as seven points in the first half but battled back to trim the lead to 31-30 at the break.
Alek Ayer's three-pointer at 17:52 of the second half tied the game at 33 and started a 31-17 run that gave Ferrum a 61-50 lead with 7:17 left to play. EMU wouldn't go quietly, using a 13-0 run to take a 63-61 lead on Khalil Davis' layup with 3:11 left to play.
Rashawn Speas' basket at 2:27 tied the game at 65, then following a defensive stop, Robinson hit the game-winner from the right side. The Royals had three missed three-pointers inside the final minute of play.

Next Up for the Panthers
Coach Bill Tharp's team will play in the V Foundation Classic at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21. The Panthers face St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn Friday at 1:30 p.m. Saturday's consolation game begins at 10:00 a.m., with the championship game to follow at 1:00 p.m.
