ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. -- Ferrum College picked up a USA South football victory over North Carolina Wesleyan College this afternoon on the road, winning 17-7 at Rocky Mount Athletic Stadium.

Brian Mann scored at 7:56 of the first quarter on a seven-yard run, but the Bishops answered that with a Adrian Minondo one-yard run five minutes later to knot the score at 7-7.
Dre Davis hauled in a 27-yard touchdown pass from
Zack Clifford at 2:47 of the second quarter and the Panthers led 14-7 at the break. Following a scoreless third quarter,
Brad Green split the uprights from 26 yards out with 5:38 left in regulation for the game's final score.

Grande's team will have a bye week, then returns to action Saturday, Oct. 14, at home against LaGrange College. The USA South game kicks off at 1:00 p.m. at W.B. Adams Stadium. The game is designated "Fan Appreciation Day" and as such, all tickets have been reduced to $2.00.
