Calvin Washington led all scorers with 24 points as Ferrum College dropped a non-conference men's basketball game tonight at home to Mary Baldwin University, falling 85-72 at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Both teams scored 39 points in the second half, but it was the first half where Mary Baldwin took control. Down 5-4 early on, the Fighting Squirrels used a 10-2 run to grab a 14-7 lead, one they would not relinquish through the rest of the game.
Deshone Hicks knocked down a trio of three-pointers in tallying 20 points on the night, going 7-13 from the floor and adding six rebounds and a pair of assists.
Marcus Neal also reached double figure scoring for the Panthers with 11 points.
