FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College lost to Muskingum University in non-conference football action this afternoon, falling 31-3 at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Noah Wellmeier ran in from a yard out 12:13 into the game to put Muskingum on top 7-0 early on.
Seth Deaton's 21-yard field goal at 6:51 of the first quarter trimmed the lead to 7-3.
Travis Robertson hauled in an eight-yard scoring pass from Jordan Garrett to close out the first on top 14-3, and that score held through halftime.
In the third quarter, Nick Thomas returned a fumble 65 yards for a score to make it 21-3, then Garrett and Robinson connected on another scoring strike from seven yards out to make it a 28-3 game in the fourth.
Hunter Albers connected on a 20-yard field goal with just over three minutes left in the game for the final count.
