CJ Hughes and Jameson Hackett combined on a sack, forcing the Quakers to punt inside Ferrum territory. With the help of a 15-yard penalty against Guilford, Carr found the endzone for the second time on a 17 yard scamper down the left sideline, putting the Panthers up 21-0.

Following an interception by Tyree Barton, who returned the interception to the Guilford 21 yard line, set up another Lee touchdown from one yard out. Pushing Ferrum's lead to 28-0 with 4:24 remaining.
