FERRUM, Virginia -- The freshman duo of quarterback
Nathan Carr and running back
Jahylen Lee combined for four touchdowns, as Ferrum College shutout Guilford College, 28-0 on Homecoming day in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play at W.B. Adams Stadium this afternoon.

THE BASICS
Guilford took the opening drive and marched all the way to the Ferrum 31-yard line, but were unable to convert the field goal. The Panthers used that to drive 69 yards, on a 14 play 5:06 drive to score the opening touchdown on a two yard run by
Jahylen Lee. Both teams defense's played strong, not allowing either side to reach the redzone, the rest of the half.
Ferrum's first possession in the third quarter used an 11 play, 86 yard drive that was capped off by a
Nathan Carr, who found the endzone from two yards out.
CJ Hughes and
Jameson Hackett combined on a sack, forcing the Quakers to punt inside Ferrum territory. With the help of a 15-yard penalty against Guilford, Carr found the endzone for the second time on a 17 yard scamper down the left sideline, putting the Panthers up 21-0.
Following an interception by
Tyree Barton, who returned the interception to the Guilford 21 yard line, set up another Lee touchdown from one yard out. Pushing Ferrum's lead to 28-0 with 4:24 remaining.
