FERRUM, Virginia -- The Ferrum College men's basketball team scored over 100 points for the third game this season in a 107-55 non-conference win over Carolina Christian College this evening at Swartz Gym. This also marks the third time the Panthers have scored 107 points on the season and fourth straight game with four players in double figures.

THE BASICS
Jikari Johnson scored the game's first four points and
Bryant Wall added a jumper for a quick 6-2 lead for Ferrum. Robert Murdock's three-pointer gave Carolina Christian an 8-6 lead, their only lead of the game.
Darwin Randolph's jumper after a steal, led to an 11-1 run for the Panthers, putting them up 19-9 with 13:27 to play in the half. Another 9-0 run extended the lead back up to double digits, 38-20 with 4:07 remaining in the half. Ferrum's defense held the Centurions to just five points the rest of the half.
Alfredo Abel-Rivera's layup at 16:21 gave Ferrum a 21 point lead, and did not see it drop below 20 the remainder of the game. The Panthers used an 8-0 scoring run, with Abel-Rivera scoring six of his 17 points during that two minute stretch. Following a steal by
Marcus Neal, his bucket on the other put Ferrum over the century mark, 101-52.
Abe Bell's three-point play helped the Panthers tie their season high in total points with 107.
