FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College dug deep to overcome a 2-0 deficit and come up with an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball win over visiting Randolph College, winning 3-2 tonight at Swartz Gym. Set scores were 22-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 17-15.

THE BASICS
Randolph led all the way in the first two sets to grab the early 2-0 lead. Ferrum would not go quietly, winning the third set 25-19 on a
Jaycee Chaffin kill with a
Shelby Waltrip assist.
In the fourth set, Ferrum trailed 14-13 before putting together a 12-7 run to close it, ending the set on another Waltrip-to-Chaffin kill.
The fifth set was as tight as the rest of the match, with Randolph having match point at 15-14. The Panthers got a point each on kills from Chaffin and
Alex Christoff, then secured the match on an
Airiana Beverley block.
