WINCHESTER, Virginia -- Ferrum College fell in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball action this afternoon at Shenandoah University, falling 3-2 at James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center. Set scores were 25-27, 25-20, 25-11, 22-25, 15-7.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led in the first set 9-3 on an
Alex Christoff kill with a
Shelby Waltrip set. The Hornets rallied to take a 24-20 lead, only to see Ferrum use a 7-1 run to close out the set on an Shendoah setting error. Shenandoah came back to grab the next two sets for a 2-1 lead.
Ferrum tied the match 2-2 with a win in the fourth set. The two teams were tied 17-17 when Ferrum rallied with an 8-5 to to close out the set. In the fifth an final set, the score was tied 3-3, but the Hornets exploded with a 12-4 rally that ended the set and match.
