Bryant Wall Scores 21 in ODAC Road Loss to #8 Guilford

GREENSBORO, North Carolina -- The Ferrum College men's basketball team dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game 67-55 against #8 Guilford College tonight in the Ragan-Brown Field House.

THE BASICS
Calvin Washington's jumper and Sterling Charles two-point basket put Ferrum ahead 4-2, just three minutes into the game. Guilford's Caleb Farrish knocked down a 3-pointer to spark a 8-2 run, giving them a 10-6 lead with 14:05 to play in the first half. Jikari Johnson sunk a pair of free throws to tie the game at 16-16. The Quakers went on a 10-0 run to take a 26-16 lead with three and half minutes left in the half. Ferrum closed out the first half on a 7-3 run, cutting the lead to 29-23 at the break.

Tahli Oden's layup and assist to Charles tied the game a 39-39 with 13:00 remaining in the game. Gabe Procter's layup helped the Quakers jump out to a 7-0 run, pushing their lead to 46-39 with under 10 minutes to play in the second half. Guilford pushed the lead up to 12, thanks to a 9-0 run with just over four minutes left on the clock. The Quakers defense held the Panthers to just two field goals the final three minutes of the game.
