SALEM, Virginia -- Ferrum College's men's cross country team competed Saturday, October 19, at the Roanoke XC Invitational at Green Hill Park in Salem. The event is a preview for the 2024 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Cross Championships, which will be held there in two weeks.

INDIVIDUAL
Ryan Fowlkes, an unattached runner, took top honors, completing the 8K course in a time of 24:08.4. Diego Zarate, Nayat Kasperoswski and Roan Kelly finished second, third and fourth, respectively, while Radford's Maxton Sowers rounded out the top five individuals.
FERRUM FIVE
Josh Mills was once again Ferrum's top finisher with a time of 29:13.4 to place 95th in a field of 154 runners.
Kayden Ryder placed 138th with a time of 34:00.3.

Coach Andre Kidd's team will be back in action Saturday, November 2, at the ODAC Cross Country Championships back at Green Hill Park in Salem.
