THE BASICS
Ferrum shot 50% from the field in the second quarter to take a 35 to 27 lead into the halftime break. The Gators responded in the third quarter outscoring the Panthers by 4to cut the lead to 4 going into the fourth quarter. With 9:21 to go in the game, Amya Durham hit a trey to tie the game at 50. A Cassell basket on the next trip down the floor game the Panthers the 2 point lead. With 4:12 remaining in the game
Aisha Martin fouled and the Gators made both free throws to tie the game at 52. Cassell again responded putting the Panthers back up 2. With just under 4 minutes to play the Gators again tied it. However, the Panthers would finish the game on a 9-1 run to secure the victory.
