HAMPTON, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped a pair od dual meets today at the 2025 Virginia Duals, hosted Friday and Saturday, January 10-11, by the Peninsula Wrestling Association at the Hampton Coliseum.

THE BASICS
In Ferrum's semifinals loss to NCAA Div. II Frostburg State University, Cameron Curva (149 lbs) and Rayshawn Dixon (285) posted pins for the Panthers. Zach Beckner (125) picked up a tech fall, and Trent Proctor (133) eked out an 8-5 OT decision. Proctor trailed early, but rallied to tie the match at the end of regulation, then scored a takedown in overtime for comeback win.

The Panthers dropped into the 3rd-place match, where they fell to NAIA program Reinhardt University. Sam Slate (197) posted up a pin for Ferrum, Dixon had a tech fall and Curva earned a 12-9 decision.
