WINCHESTER, Virginia --
Tae Allen had a game-high 19 points to lift Ferrum College past Shenandoan University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's basketball action, winning 66-62 in overtime tonight at the James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center.

THE BASICS
Charles Tart III was fouled and knocked down a pair of free throws with 1:09 left in regulation to tie the game at 52-52 and send it into overtime.
Bryant Wall buried a three-pointer to open the overtime period, then Allen made a layup to make it a 57-52 game with 3:55 left.
The Hornets got a bucket at the other end of the floor from Davion Roberts to make it 75-54 at 3:29. Wall then stole the ball and found Tart streaking to the basket for a fast break layup and a 59-54 lead with 2:41 left.
Shenandoah rallied, with Shamir Taylor's three-pointer making it a 60-58 game with 34 seconds left, but Ferrum hung on from there for the ODAC road win.
