SALEM, Virginia -- Ferrum College suffered an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's basketball loss tonight at #23 Roanoke College, falling 75-72 in overtime at the Cregger Center.

THE BASICS
Roanoke led 6-0 early on, but Ferrum used an 11-6 run to cut the lead to 12-11 on
Gerren Jones' turnaround jumper right at the 14-minute mark of the first quarter.
Marcus Willis Jr. jumper at 11:30 gave Ferrum a 17-16 lead, then
Tae Allen's driving layup less than a minute later put Ferrum back on top 19-18. Roanoke used a 17-9 run to close out the half on top 36-27.
The Maroons led by as many as 12 points in the second half, but Ferrum refused to go quietly, charging back to tie the game at 53-53 on
Zavier Measmer's three-pointer with just over five minutes left to play. Joshua McClary's free throw with 2:57 left gave Roanoke a 60-55 lead, but Measmer's driving layup and free throw cut the lead to 60-58 with 2:07 showing on the clock.
Tae Allen drove the lane, was fouled and made two free throws to tit the game at 64-64 and send it to overtime.
In overtime, the Maroons jumped out to a 75-70 lead, then withstood another Ferrum run, ending with Allen missing a layup that would have tied the game again with seconds left.
