FERRUM, Virginia -- Led by a solid first half effort, the Ferrum College men's basketball team went on to earn a 101-68 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win over Washington and Lee University tonight at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Washington and Lee led 11-7 early on, but Ferrum used a 29-3 run over a 10-minute stretch, grabbing a 36-14 lead on
Tae Allen's jumper with 3:46 left in the first half. The Panthers extended to lead to 44-19 at the break, with
Charles Tart III collecting 13 first-half points and
Marcus Willis Jr. adding 10 points.
The second half was close, with ferrum outscoring W&L 57-49.Â
Zavier Measmer drilled a three-pointer from the left side, then Tart made a free throw to give the Panthers their largest lead af the game at 80-45 with 8:08 left in regulation.
