Aukeim Mitchell picked up a win in the #6 singles spot to give Ferrum College its only win in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's tennis loss at home against Randolph College. The Panthers fell 6-1 this afternoon at Burrows-Skeens Tennis Courts

THE BASICS
Randolph made quick work of the three doubles matches, surrendering just four games. The WildCats then won at #1-5 singles to take a 6-0 lead, but Mitchell spoiled any thoughts of a shutout with a three-set win over Nate Quisbert. Mitchell dropped the opening set 6-3, then rallied to take the second set 6-1. A 10-point tiebreaker was used in place of a full third set, with Mitchell rising to the occasion with a 10-3 win.
