Panthers Drop Conference Game

FERRUM, Virginia – The Ferrum College women's lacrosse team lost 23-0 to Shenandoah University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play today at home. The Hornets dominated shots and draw controls to take control of the game.

THE BASICS
Shenandoah jumped out to a 11-0 lead after one quarter. Ainsley Buckner led the Hornets with 6 goals. Shenandoah held a 19-4 advantage on draw controls limiting the opportunities for Ferrum.

Freshman Cayden West played all 60 minutes in goal for Ferrum, making 10 saves. Makaila Veney had 3 draw controls, 3 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers for the Panthers.
