GREENSBORO, North Carolina -- Ferrum College wrapped up play at the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men's Golf Championships, held Monday through Wednesday, April 28-30 at Forest Oaks Country Club. The Panthers closed out the league championship with an 11th-place finish.

THE BASICS
W&L's Jonathan McEwen, the #1-ranked golfer in the country, carded a three-day 204 to earn medalist honors. He finishing six strokes better than runner-up Cooper Mizelle (210) and eight strokes ahead of Edward Coffren (212), both from Lynchburg. Finishing fourth was Hampden-Sydney's Jack Barnes (215) and there was a five-way tie for fifth place.
Tiaan Diedericks led the way for Ferrum, posting a 74-79-75-228 to tie for 31st place in a field of 55 golfers.
Clayton Gilmore shot a 73-83-76-232 to finish 36th.

SEASON FINALE
The ODAC Tournament closed out the 2024-25 season for second-year Head Coach
Elam Ruff's squad. The Panthers graduate just one player, Green, and have eight players eligible to return for the 2025-26 season. Ferrum will leave the NCAA Division III ranks and the ODAC this summer, reclassifying as an NCAA Division II institution and competing as a member of Conference Carolinas starting in Fall 2025.
