FERRUM, Va. -- Jonathan Nicacio had a pair of goals to lift Ferrum College to a 3-1 non-conference men's soccer win over Greensboro College this afternoon at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Nicacio broke the ice with a goal in the 29th minute of play, with
Angus Till earning an assist. Greensboro's Kalle Hermansson was taken down inside the box and converted at the 31:43 mark and converted the ensuing penalty kick to tie the game and the 1-1 score held up through the break.
Just over 27 minutes into the second half, Nicacio then took a pass from
Daniel Ginocchio, drew Greensboro goalkeeper Alvaro Hermosa out the net, then dribbled around him to the left and poked a shot past a Pride defender into the net for a 2-1 lead in the 73rd minute of play.
Payton Rausch added an insurance goal in the 88th minute for the Panthers, with
Oliver McIntosh earning an assist.
