THE BASICS
The match started at 141 pounds, where Coker's Daiyan Heard picked up a major decision to spot the Cobras a 3-0 lead.
Cameron Curva (149 lbs) earned a tough 12-7 decision, and
Andres Cortes (157) picked up a 4-2 win to put Ferrum in front 6-4.
Owens trailed 7-1 early, but rallied to post a fall over Coker's Matthew Williams in a time of 6:04, and
Hunter Thompson (174) followed with a major decision to extend the lead to 16-4.
Joseph Toner (184) rallied to score a takedown in the waning seconds of his match to pull out a 5-4 decision and widen the gap to 19-4.Â
Coker's Brody Switzer posted a decision at 197 pounds to trim the lead to 19-7. Fluke (285) then put it out of reach with a fall over Hunter Miller at the 3:41 mark. Mason Moody earned a decision at 125 pounds for the Cobras. final points, the
