Ferrum College Athletics Partners with Teamworks

FERRUM, Virginia – Director of Athletics Cleive Adams has announced that the Ferrum College Athletic Department is proud to partner with Teamworks this upcoming year.

"I'm looking forward to our Athletic Department and the College partnering with Teamworks," said Adams. "Teamworks will streamline our compliance operations and workflows in collaboration with our cross-campus partners, while also establishing a more efficient communications platform for our staff and student-athletes. This partnership represents a significant milestone as we move forward with preparations for the Division II Expedited Membership Process."

Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting (C+R) is a comprehensive platform that streamlines recruiting processes, automates workflows, and ensures NCAA compliance. With the transition to Division II comes new recruiting challenges and NCAA regulations. C+R's built-in compliance checks and automated reporting for NCAA regulations will be crucial in helping navigate these new requirements. The tool's ability to centralize data and provide real-time insights will enable the athletic department to make faster, more informed decisions during this transition period. Teamworks is the Operating System for Sports ™, empowering more than 6,000 clients around the world to better connect and collaborate by simplifying their internal processes.

Ferrum currently offers 20 varsity sports, including 11 women's and 9 men's programs. Women's flag football is set to begin competition in time for the 2025-26 school year. The College announced in April 2024 the intention to reclassify from NCAA Division III to Division II, beginning in Fall 2025. Additionally, Ferrum will depart the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and join Conference Carolinas.
